ABOUT SPIDER SHORES RESORT

Spider Shores Resort is located at the north end of beautiful Spider Lake, surrounded by the Chippewa National Forest. Spider Lake has many miles of undeveloped shoreline with many bays and points. The lake is nearly 4 miles long and offers fishermen numerous opportunities to catch walleye, muskie, northern pike, largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, perch, crappie, bluegill and sunfish. Visit our Fishing page for more information.

The resort is open April through November with 10 housekeeping cabins that include amenities like microwaves, automatic coffeemakers, gas heat, decks, and charcoal grills. All of the cabins offer a view of the lake so you can enjoy the beautiful Spider Lake sunsets. Take $100 off in September.

There is a screen house overlooking the lake and a swimming area with a diving platform for the use of all our guests. We have several docks with plenty of room for your boats. Pets are allowed for a minimal fee, provided they are kept under control at all times. We offer different lengths of stay; Weekend Rentals, Weekly Rentals, and Split Weeks. There are three fish cleaning houses and free freezer space for your catch. We have live bait including nightcrawlers, leeches and minnows. We also sell gas, oil and offer boat, motor and pontoon rentals.

In the Lodge, we have our office and sell a small line of groceries, resort apparel, candy, ice cream treats, pop, and hot pizzas. We have a basketball hoop, outdoor games including Ladder Ball and Bocci Ball. There is a campfire pit, and we are conveniently located within driving distance to many area attractions.

The wildlife viewing here is terrific, with many boaters spotting deer, bear, fox, raccoons, chipmunks, squirrels, beaver, rabbits, and an occasional playful otter. Bald eagles, loons, Canada geese, mallard ducks, woodpeckers and hummingbirds are also commonly sighted.

We are here to serve you and are always ready with prompt, personal attention. Our doors are open for family vacations, family reunions, fishing, hunting, water sports and quiet getaways.
