MINNESOTA BASS FISHING

Minnesota has excellent bass fishing lakes although it is a well-kept secret for most of the country. Most Minnesota bass lakes have either largemouth bass or smallmouth bass but few lakes offer both species in the same lake.

The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources reports that smallmouth bass are abundant with a higher than expected gill-net catch for similar lakes.
